A unique transformable opal ring in fully traceable Fairmined 14ct white gold, designed to be worn as both a statement ring and a pendant. The Selkie ring series uses our registered hinge design to convert from hand to necklace, creating a rare two-way jewel for occasions, travel and personal expression. Each ring in the Selkie collection is a one-of-a-kind piece for those drawn to colour and distinctive design.

The Selkie 2 ring is created around an Australian rainbow crystal opal, framed by 18 coloured gemstones selected to reflect the opal’s shifting spectrum. Two pear-shaped natural diamonds add brilliance. The hinged structure creates a transformable setting with movement and presence.

The Selkie ring series takes its name from the folklore Selkie, a shape-shifting Celtic sea creature associated with freedom, adaptability and life between two worlds. Opal is associated with vision, inspiration and imagination. Its vivid colour and iridescence plays with the coloured gemstones and diamonds that surround it. This ring is made in finger size M, but can be resized to fit you when purchased.
Ring head is 8 x 6mm diameter

Conventionally, most high-quality white gold jewellery is finished with a micro-layer of rhodium to achieve a bright white finish. Over time, this layer will wear naturally through everyday use.

We are happy to accept back any unworn item within 14 days of receiving your order. You can return your Juraster purchase for a refund or credit note, or if the item is a ring, then you can exchange it for an alternative size of the same design if in stock.

We can only accept items back which are unaltered, unworn, and in a resaleable condition.  Please pack your return inside the original packaging so it won’t get damaged in transit.  Please ensure that each item still has its tamper proof tag intact and securely attached.  

Any bespoke Juraster pieces which have been designed and made to order are non-returnable and non-refundable.
