Fairmined gold and silver jewellery

Ethical fine jewellery

traceable and certified

Modern fine jewellery crafted in Fairmined gold and silver - fully traceable, beautifully designed, and made with care.

At Juraster, luxury begins with transparency: knowing where your jewellery comes from, how it was made, and the lives it touches along the way.

What is Fairmined?

A certified system

Fairmined is a certified system ensuring gold and silver come from small‑scale mines meeting the world's highest standards on safety, fair pay, environmental protection, and community development.

Due to their small size, Fairmined mines are low-impact and low-carbon.

Fairmined metals are traceable, audited from mine to finished piece, and kept completely separate throughout the supply chain.

Every gram of Fairmined gold and silver has an address.

Recycled was ethical 1.0.
Fairmined is ethical 2.0

Why Fairmined exists

Recycled gold and silver were ethical 1.0 - a good first step. But with hidden origins and no accountability.

There is only enough recycled gold for about a quarter of global demand.

Fairmined is ethical 2.0. It means your gold or silver is traceable from source, and the people who mined it were paid fairly, protected, and supported to restore their environment.

Why Juraster works exclusively in Fairmined metals

The harder path

Fairmined gold and silver must be kept completely separate – from the moment they leave the mine to the final piece of jewellery.

That means certified workshops, segregated workflows, and a full paper trail.

It took three years of trials with five successive workshops to build Juraster’s supply chain.

Juraster is the only UK jewellery brand working exclusively in Fairmined gold and silver across its entire collection.

Traceable from mine to finished piece

JURASTER'S 5 STEP SUPPLY CHAIN

1. The origins of Juraster's jewellery are two small‑scale, community run Fairmined‑certified mines:

Gold from: Oro Puno, Peru.

Silver from: Iquira, Columbia

2. Metals are sent to licensed Fairmined refiners in Bogota, Columbia

3. Refined metals are bought by licensed Fairmined bullion merchant in Europe

4. Juraster orders metals for small batch production by licensed workshop in Jaipur, India

5. Finished pieces quality checked then Edinburgh Assay Office tests metals standards, and stamps with Fairmined logo and full UK hallmarks

HOW RARE IS FAIRMINED GOLD AND SILVER?

11 MINES GLOBALLY

Currently there are only eleven Fairmined‑certified mines, globally.

ONLY 0.004%

Fairmined gold represents no more than 0.004% of the world’s gold, and Fairmined silver is even rarer.

EXTREME RARITY

That rarity is part of what makes Fairmined
metals so special.
